All of this comes in a beautifully new enclosure with a minimal, timeless design. Available in black and white.
Key features:
Chemistry is now pumped directly from the original bottles - and back into them after processing. No more refilling into the machine, no more slow back-draining. Less handling, less cleaning.
A new, more powerful motor drive with encoder feedback and PID control actively monitors and adjusts the rotation speed of the film spirals for precise and consistent operation. Rotation speed can be defined individually for every process, with a wide range from 20 to 120 rpm.
The tank cap has been entirely redesigned and now features a magnetic drive system that transfers rotation from the motor to the film spirals without physical contact. This allows the motor to remain hermetically separated from the processing chemistry, reducing mechanical complexity and improving long-term reliability.
Cleaning has been completely rethought, too. The simpler overall design makes the machine much easier to clean, while the automatic cleaning program requires 10× less water - just 600 mL per cycle.
Fresh rinsing water is supplied from an external reservoir via a connection at the rear of the machine, with wastewater routed to a separate external container. This keeps the machine’s footprint compact while allowing both fresh and waste water containers to be conveniently placed next to or underneath the workspace.
Temperature control follows the same philosophy of simplification. Instead of permanently integrating a custom heating system into the machine, NEO uses an external sous-vide heater. It is precise, widely available, affordable and can be replaced in minutes if it ever fails.
The machine’s internal architecture - including pumps, valves and seals - remains based on the same proven system used in the Filmomat Classic.
Attention to detail:
Slim stainless-steel rods keep chemistry bottles securely in place and prevent them from floating in the water bath. Beautifully screen-printed labels give the unit a clean, professional finish, while replaceable stainless-steel filters in every suction tube prevent debris from entering the fluid system. Wear parts such as the pump impeller are easily accessible through dedicated service openings and can be replaced without disassembling the machine.
